January Joy

I did some painting a bit ago. I really want to see fireflies some day.

This is a good chunk of what I do at work. I set up these waterproof devices for people and some days they pile up. 

I passed my Drivers test for Oregon, this is just a practice but I passed the real thing and got my new license! I'm officially Kalie Pennington haha

Tanner's baptism was so special. I really miss those kiddos! I can't wait until Travis can meet them.

We discovered peanuts have a "heart" in them. The things you learn when everything is shut down haha

We made the record board with our friend Gabi at work in December. Things got pretty slow for a while lol

We went to Medford for a weekend to get some of Travis' old things and saw the temple one last time.

We got sees with the gift card mom sent us ;)

I made chicken and dumpling soup and boy was it tasty

Travis FINALLY played the cello for me and even I played for a bit 

We decided to get an exercise bike and made room in our small apartment for it

It SNOWED!

We got creative and made scavenger hunt for ourselves around Corvallis. We had to find so many murals, dogs, antiques, and a few other things to finish. 

We went to a park today to get out and climbed around

Christmas "Break"

We made Christmas cards for our parents and Painted ornaments for our tree

Travis did the penguin. He is quite the renaissance man.

We got donuts & hot coco to go look at Christmas lights

We went on a hike to Mary's peak and stopped at this waterfall on the drive back

Oregon is so beautiful!

We helped at the Primary Activity... they did a drive by for the kids

I made moms peanut butter bars for us.. sooo good

We made gingerbread houses, mine turned out kind of like an outhouse to Travis' mansion haha 

It was pretty fun :)

Our Christmas eve gift was matching socks ;) Travis doesn't like fun socks so it made me happy he wore them with me.

We went and saw the gorge in between Oregon and Washington

Then we drove to this HUGE waterfall

We have had some pretty fun adventures even though we are working full time during the break. It was so fun to have Christmas together just the two of us and start our own little traditions. Love ya'll!
